What's included in day-to-day operations
Not a standard package, but a clear core of services. Which parts you need, we work out with you in advance.
Monitoring your workstations. We notice when a computer is running low on disk space, a hard drive starts acting up, or a device hasn't had updates for weeks.
Monitoring servers and network. Load, services, connections – around the clock. If something falls outside the norm, we know, whether or not anyone in-house has noticed.
Patch management. Operating system and application updates are checked, installed and verified. Not blindly, but in a sequence that doesn't disrupt operations.
Antivirus. Managed and monitored centrally, instead of installed on each device individually and then forgotten.
Online backup. Your data is backed up automatically, and the backups are monitored. How often and exactly what depends on your needs – we define that together, see IT Security.
An overview of your inventory. Which devices, which licences, which contracts, which terms. Most companies don't have this overview – and don't have it exactly when they need it.
Which of these building blocks you need depends on how your IT is set up. A business with its own on-site server needs something different than one whose systems run with us. That's why we put the scope together after an assessment, instead of selling you a package that's half unused.

Proactive means: we call you before you call us
The difference between a maintenance contract and managed services shows up on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
A hard drive in the server reports its first read errors. In classic support, nobody notices – until it fails weeks later and operations grind to a halt. With us, monitoring picks it up, we call you, and we swap the drive before it turns into an outage.
That's exactly the point: most failures give warning signs. You just have to be watching – and watching before anyone has noticed a problem.

One point of contact, not a call centre
You don't call a hotline and explain for the fourth time how your network is set up. You talk to someone who knows your environment because they helped build it.
For a company with 15 or 50 workstations, that's the real difference from the large providers. There, you're a contract number. With us, you're a customer whose inventory system we know, and where we know payroll takes priority at the end of the month.

Predictable, not billed by effort
Billing is a fixed monthly fee, known in advance. No timesheet to argue about at year-end, and no invoice that happens to spike in the same month something already went wrong.
There's a side effect that's often underestimated: when asking a question doesn't cost extra, your staff call sooner. Small problems get reported instead of being worked around for months – and small problems are cheaper than big ones.
What your support costs depends on the size and structure of your IT. You'll get a solid quote with a concrete scope of services and the matching terms after a short assessment.

What belongs where?
So you know where to look:
- Managed Services – this page – is day-to-day operations: monitoring, updates, antivirus, backup. Monthly, ongoing, proactive.
- IT Support is help for a specific case: a printer won't work, a file has gone missing, a program won't start. For customers with a service contract, support is included.
- IT Security is the protection concept behind it: firewall, network structure, permissions, recovery strategy and contingency planning. How things need to be built so they hold up.
- Private Cloud & Hosting is where your systems can run once you no longer want to operate your own servers.
Many of our customers use several of these together. The advantage is the same as everywhere with us: one point of responsibility, no finger-pointing between providers.

When it's worth it – and when it isn't
Managed services pay off when one of these applies:
- Your IT is looked after on the side by someone whose actual job is something else.
- Outages cost you money or deadlines, not just nerves.
- You're not sure whether your backups actually work.
- Your IT costs fluctuate a lot and are hard to plan for.
- You have an IT department that should be relieved, not replaced.
It makes less sense if you work with five laptops and Microsoft 365, no server, no industry software. Then support on demand is enough, and we'll tell you that too.
