We don't build standard packages – we build the environment that fits your application landscape.

Billing is a fixed monthly amount, fixed in advance – not based on usage. What your environment costs depends on its size; you'll get a solid quote after a short conversation about your systems.

What the data center operator provides – and what we provide
This split isn't a formality, it's the core of how we operate.
The foundation comes from the data center operator
Building, redundant power supply, backup power, climate control, network connectivity, fire protection and access control. These are services with dedicated specialists, and there's no point reinventing them.
Everything above that is on us
- Our own server hardware. We buy, fit out and operate our machines ourselves. Your systems don't run on shared third-party systems whose load we don't know.
- Our own configurations and security policies. Virtualisation, network segmentation, access rights and hardening are set by us, not by a provider with a standard template.
- Our own maintenance and administration. Patch levels, updates and changes run through our processes and our people.
- Our own monitoring. We monitor around the clock and spot anomalies before they reach you.

What that means for you in practice
When a problem occurs, there's no chain of support tiers ending with someone who doesn't know your company. There's us.
If you have a requirement that deviates from the standard – a particular network separation, a special backup interval, an application with unusual requirements – we don't first have to check whether a provider allows it. We build it.
And when you need to know where your data is and who has access to it, we can answer that without asking a third party. For our customers in healthcare and logistics, that's exactly where the decision gets made.

Why it's cheaper than Azure or AWS
With hyperscalers you pay for usage: compute time, storage, every request, every gigabyte that leaves the cloud. For short-lived test environments and heavily fluctuating loads, that's a good model. For a server environment that runs around the clock – in other words, the IT of most businesses – it's the most expensive one.
Four reasons our customers end up paying less:
Fixed price instead of usage-based billing. You know in January what your IT will cost in December. There's no invoice that doubles because a process ran away or a backup grew bigger than planned.
No data traffic on the bill. Outbound transfer from the cloud is billed separately by hyperscalers and is the line item that most often blows up calculations – especially with large files and backups. We don't charge for data traffic. Not even when your architecture firm downloads a 40-gigabyte project.
Operations are included. A hyperscaler's price is the price for infrastructure. Administration, monitoring, updates and support come on top, either as an in-house role or as an additional provider. With us, both are the same contract and the same point of contact.
No upfront commitment for a good price. Attractive terms from the large providers usually require a one- to three-year commitment to a certain capacity – which you have to fix before you know what you'll actually need.
Where hyperscalers are cheaper, we'll tell you: heavily fluctuating loads, short-lived development environments and worldwide delivery to end customers. We compare your actual numbers, not list prices. If you have an existing quote, we'll check it in our Quote Check.

And more flexible than a standard product
A hyperscaler gives you a kit with fixed parts. What isn't included doesn't happen – no matter how important it would be for you.
- Industry software that won't be forced into a mould. Practice-management, planning and inventory systems with requirements on operating system, licence server or network that standardised clouds have no room for.
- Network structure on your terms. Segmentation, VPN connections for your locations, fixed IP addresses, separate zones for sensitive systems.
- Backup intervals and retention to match your needs, not a tariff.
- Hardware that fits the application. If an application needs compute power or particularly fast storage, we fit the machine out accordingly.
- Hybrid, when parts need to stay on-site. Machine controllers, archives or systems tied to local hardware are connected into one environment instead of two separate islands.
And when something unusual comes up, you talk to someone who knows your environment – not an email that can't find your request in its categories.

Who this is especially suited for
Not every company needs a private cloud. If your IT is five laptops and Microsoft 365, you're better served elsewhere with us.
It makes sense when one of these applies:
- You process personal or especially sensitive data and need to be able to show where it's stored – medical practices, law firms, tax advisors, HR service providers.
- You work with large files or compute-heavy applications where public clouds get expensive or slow – planning, engineering and architecture firms.
- Your systems need to be reachable at all times, even outside office hours – logistics, manufacturing, retail.
- You run industry software that can't be forced into a hyperscaler.

Availability and operations
Reliability isn't a promise, it's an outcome of how something is built. Our systems are designed with redundancy, so individual components can fail without stopping operations. Continuous monitoring reports deviations automatically to our on-call team.
For us, operations always includes recovery. A backup that's never been restored is an assumption, not security. That's why restore testing is part of our concepts, not an afterthought.
What we commit to, we put in writing: the contractual minimum availability is 99.9 percent. Higher figures, shorter response times, tighter backup intervals and longer retention periods we agree individually – depending on what your systems actually need. An inventory system in logistics needs different guarantees than a file server in a planning office, and you should only pay for what you actually need.

GDPR-compliant data protection
Protecting sensitive data takes priority for us, and given our customer base that's not a marketing line: among others, we support an aviation medical examination centre, an architecture firm with sensitive planning data, and an internationally active air-freight company.
Our principles:
- Data stored exclusively in Germany. No shifting to other jurisdictions, no processing outside the EU.
- Technical and organisational measures at the current state of the art.
- Access on a need-to-know basis. Anyone who doesn't need access for their role doesn't get it.
- Encrypted transmission and secured systems.
- No disclosure to third parties. External service providers get no access to live customer data unless expressly required and contractually agreed.
- Data processing agreement included. We formalise the processing of your data in writing under Art. 28 GDPR – you don't have to ask, and you don't have to wait for it.
Because we operate the servers and systems ourselves, we retain full control over all data flows. There's no point in the chain where we can only give you second-hand information.

Green IT and sustainability
For IT infrastructure, sustainability is above all a question of efficiency. Our systems run in energy-efficient data centers designed for resource-conscious operation: power from renewable sources, optimised cooling concepts and modern data center technology.
The second part is on us. Because the entire server and system architecture is ours, we can deploy hardware deliberately, keep systems properly utilised and plan components for long usage cycles. A server running at a quarter of its capacity uses almost as much power as one running at full capacity – just without the benefit.
